Jennifer’s Journey
Starting over with a dream.
I grew up in a small village in Vietnam with hopes of building a better future.
At 19, I left everything familiar behind and came to the United States. The language was new. The culture was new. Starting over was difficult, but I held tightly to the belief that hard work and care could create something meaningful.
Working in local nail salons, I discovered more than a career. I discovered how powerful it can be to help someone feel seen, confident, and beautiful.

Why Non-Toxic?
A cleaner kind of beauty.
As I worked in the industry, I also saw the need for a healthier, safer environment.
I wanted cleaner air, carefully chosen products, and a space where both guests and technicians could feel comfortable without compromising their well-being.
Nirvana was created from that belief: beautiful nails, thoughtful service, and a peaceful experience that feels good from the moment you arrive.

Nirvana in Bernardo Heights brought the vision of a refined, non-toxic nail spa to Rancho Bernardo.
JD Nail Spa
JD Nail Spa continued the same commitment to care, comfort, and a better salon experience.

Rising Through Adversity
Resilience became part of the story.
When the pandemic arrived, I feared losing everything we had worked so hard to build.
But giving up was never an option. We adapted, introduced new safety measures, and focused on protecting our guests and our team.
That season reminded me that resilience is not about avoiding hardship. It is about continuing to care, lead, and move forward even when the path is uncertain.
